SERMA wants to warn everyone that there are to be NO bicycles in the forest and walking is only allowed if you are wearing a hunting vest/hat. Th SC Forestry Commission will issue tickets to anyone not following these Manchester State Forest rules! No warnings will be issued.
It will be an AMA and SETRA sanctioned event. AMA Membership is required! You can join AMA by clicking here.
All events will start at the same location, on the SERMA
Note: this is NOT the same location as the past few years.
Concessions will be available on site.
Primitive camping (no hookup) is allowed and you can leave your RV the following
week if you are planning on coming back for the enduro. Gates open Saturday at 7 AM.
Quiet time will be from 10:30 pm each night until 7:00 am.
Gates will be locked from 11:00pm until 6:00am and all vehicles entering or leaving are subject to being searched.
Please be prepared to pack out what you pack in, including your trash!
No campfires are allowed.
NO PITBIKES or ATVS allowed.
There is a 5 mph speed limit on the grounds.
Off of Highway 261 between Wedgefield and Pinewood, SC

There will be NO online entries for this event.

The entry fee for the Sumter Mini Cross Country events will be $25.
The entry fee for the Burnt Gin Hare Scramble will be $40.
AA Class $50 (100% Payback) Pros $60 (Minimum $1000 purse)
Mini XC Classes:
All SETRA classes will be run.
Mini XC Event Times
Sign up 1:00 - 5:00
Sign up 7:00-10:00
Pee Wee Classes (50cc) runs at 9:00
Other classes (Mini only) runs at 10:00
Main Event runs at 1:00
These events will use electronic scoring and transponders. If you do not have a transponder, they will be available at the event for a minimal fee.
There will be NO REFUNDS!
Both Mini events will run a Hare Scramble type format, so rows will be assigned by class.
There will be
NO bike inspection by SERMA.
No public roads will be used, so only a USFS approved spark arrestor is necessary.
Any ticket issued will result in the immediate disqualification of the rider given the citation.
Course Information (Estimated data):
The site will consist of very limited roads that will be monitored via Sumter County Sherriff's Deputies. Follow their instructions at road areas.
Lengths of each course will be posted closer to the event date.
The terrain will be mostly sandy.
